IC Information:
Name: Allelujah Haptism (canon)/Alexander Slava Bogu (reincarnate)
Canon and Medium: Gundam 00, anime.
Age: 26
Preincarnation Species: Human, though he was experimented on and turned into a super-soldier.
Preincarnation Appearance: Have a picture here and here
Any Differences: In canon, his hair is "hunter green" and his left eye is grey while his right eye is gold. In his reincarnated form, his hair will be black, and his eyes will be green.
Starting Location: Las Vegas, NV, USA.
Preincarnated History: Allelujah was born on February 27th, 2288, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was part of a Federation of nations knows as the Human Reform League. At some point during his youth, he was orphaned, became a ward of the state, and was subsequently transferred to the HRL's Super-Soldier Institute so he could be experimented on. The chain of events that landed him there are unknown, even to Allelujah, as he doesn't remember anything from before his time at the Institute, not even the name he was born under. He was simply known as Test Subject E-57

After he was surgically implanted with tissue that gave him quantum brainwaves, Allelujah was allowed to wander around the Institute, where he eventually met a girl, another test subject named Marie Parfacy. She was another test subject who had undergone the same procedure, but she lost the use of all her senses and motor skills in the process. However, she could talk using quantum brainwaves, and Allelujah was able to hear her. When she found out that he couldn't remember his name, she named him Allelujah, because she was happy and thankful to God for having met him.

However, after a few months of testing and observation (during which time he continued to visit Marie), Allelujah was targeted for termination. Shortly after he had undergone the surgery to get the quantum brainwaves, he developed the rather homicidal alternate personality of Hallelujah. Exactly why Hallelujah was created is never stated in the series, though its speculated that Hallelujah was created in response to the stress the quantum brainwaves caused Allelujah's consciousness, with Hallelujah handling the physical reflexes and heightened instincts given to quantum brainwave users while Allelujah had the higher empathy and cognitive reasoning. There's no explanation for why Hallelujah is so insane, however. The doctors had felt that Hallelujah personality was too unstable and deemed E-57 a failed experiment. Allelujah banded together with other kids were targeted for termination, they kids escaped, though Marie was left behind.

They stole a shuttle and fled the colony, but with no plan beyond "get as far away from here as possible," the kids were eventually left adrift in space. Running out of food and air, they started to turn on each other and fights broke out. In a desperate move to survive, Hallelujah took over and kill everyone else on board.

Somehow Allelujah made his way to earth, where he managed to lay low for several years. Eventually, he was scouted by Celestial Being, and when they offered him a chance to become a Gundam Meister, he accepted.

During season 1 of the anime, he piloted the Gundam Kyrios, and went on missions to perform armed interventions in earth and space. During a couple of missions, he kept crossing paths with an HRL pilot who kept disrupting his quantum brainwaves, which caused him headaches and to lose consciousness. Eventually he figured out that whoever the pilot had to be a super-soldier like him, so after some goading by Hallelujah, Allelujah proposed a mission to Celestial Being; a mission to go back and destroy the Super-Soldier Institute.

The mission was green-lit, and Alle went back, but hesitated when he had the place targeted. He could hear the quantum brainwaves of all the other test subjects in the building, most of them kids, and thought about taking them into custody. Hallelujah offered to kill them instead, but when Alle refused, Halle pointed out how much of a hypocrite he was, and berated him about how his kindness was just a desperate attempt to feel better about himself. Eventually the goading got to Allelujah, who blew up the institute.

He continued on performing Celestial Beings armed interventions, until the world united to take down the Gundams. During Operation: Fallen Angels, Kyrios was badly damaged, and Allelujah was separated from the other Meisters, who weren't in much of a position to help at that point anyway. Hallelujah was prepared to fight to the death, but Allelujah asserted that he wasn't done fighting either. With the two personalities on the same page, they combined their talents (Allelujah's tactics and high thought processing with Hallelujah's reflexes and physical strength) and took on the remaining forces.

They nearly succeeded, but in the end they were taken down. It was then that Allelujah discovered that the HRL pilot he had been constantly fighting had been Marie (now called Soma Pieres) all along, something which Hallelujah knew but never told him. It didn't matter to Hallelujah at that point, though, as one of the injuries Alle sustained was head trauma, which shut down his quantum brainwaves, silencing Hallelujah for good. Alle was then captured by the enemy (though not before discarding his Gundam's GN drive for Celestial Being to recover), and held in a secret maximum security detention center.

Four years after his capture, Celestial Being discovered Allelujah's location, and successfully rescued him. While he continued with CB's armed interventions and campaign against the government's oppressive A-LAWS team, Allelujah also resolved to bring Marie back to him.

He got his chance soon enough, as he encountered Soma on the battlefield again. In the ensuing fight, both their machines were damaged, and they crashed on an island away from their teams. After a brief skirmish, Allelujah was eventually able to help Marie regain control of her body. And after some further discussion with Marie, she agreed to go with him and join Celestial Being.

Allelujah did his best to keep her out of battle, not wanting Marie to have a life of fighting. But when Colonel Smirnov, Soma's former CO and surrogate father figure, was killed in battle by the A-LAWS, Soma took over again and decided that she would fight.

Soma still remained with Celestial Being, but her insistence on fighting caused tension between her and Allelujah, though the rest of CB accepted her help, given how perpetually shorthanded they were.

Eventually, Allelujah came to understand how important fighting was for Soma, and accepted her as part of the team.

Allelujah fought along side the rest of Celestial Being against the A-Laws, and the Innovators who had been pulling the strings behind the scenes. During the climatic battle, Allelujah was exposed to a high concentration of GN particles which repaired his quantum brainwaves, causing the rebirth of Hallelujah, who immediately joined in the fight against the Innovators.

After the Innovators were defeated, Alle and Marie took a leave from Celestial Being, as Alle wanted to take some time to explore his past and the two went backpacking through eastern Europe. They traveled for two years, before their journey was interrupted by an encounter with the ELS aliens. The two were rescued by CB, and they promptly rejoined the fight against the ELS in the Gundam Harute.

Allelujah, along with Marie, survived to the end of the conflict, but its unknown what happened to them after that.

Reincarnated History: Alexander was born in Kazakhstan in 1988, while the country was still under Soviet rule. His father worked in the oil fields to provide for the family, and Alex live a good life in the town he was born in. Due to how diverse Kazakhstan is, he grew up speaking Kazakh, Russian, and a bit of Ukrainian. In the mid-90s, a few years after Kazakhstan declared its independence from the Soviet Union, his family emigrated to the US, his father taking a job at an off-shore oil rig in the gulf.

He learned to speak English shortly after arriving to the US, and was enrolled in various sports growing up (predominantly soccer and gymnastics) to help him make friends and acclimate. He managed to adjust to life well enough, and outside of developing chronic migraines, was an otherwise healthy, decently adjusted kid growing up. As he got older, his family moved around a bit more, as his father moved on from one oil rig to another.

His parents pushed him hard in both school and sports, believing that education would give him more opportunities than to just be an oil worker like his father. They also believe that sports would help him stay in shape, as well as help his social life whenever they moved to somewhere new. Soccer was his personal mainstay during that time, as he eventually lost interest in gymnastics.

He eventually graduated college with a degree in hotel and restaurant management, choosing that field precisely because he had moved around so much. He had gotten used to meeting new people, and saw the industry as a chance to stay in one place, while still meeting many different people from all over the world. After college, he eventually managed to land a job at Marriott’s Grand Chateau, where he started as a desk clerk but worked his way up to his current title of Concierge.

First Echo: His first echo would be the return of Allelujah's (rather psychotic) alternate personality of Hallelujah, though, much like he was through the majority of season 2, Hallelujah will be largely dormant. Without any quantum brainwaves, he can't act on his own, or communicate directly with anyone, including Alexander. There may be flashes of his personality (a reflexive action, perhaps a brief snarl or psychotic laugh) but they will only be just that, momentary flashes that Alexander isn't even aware of.

Halle will still be able to echo back memories and skills separately from Alexander, that he won't be able to put to use until he finally gets his quantum brainwaves back.

He'll be echoed back from Alexander suffering from a particularly bad migraine. This is reminiscent of his first appearance in the anime, when Allelujah suffers a severe headache when his quantum brainwaves interact with Soma Pieres' for the first time, causing Hallelujah to assert control momentarily.

Preincarnation Personality: Allelujah, in general, is a quiet and somewhat brooding individual. He feels a lot of guilt over the things he's done, starting with the aftermath of his escape from the Super-Soldier Institute to all the things he's done as a Gundam Meister. He doesn't like hurting people, despite being built to do so. The only mission that he seems happy to complete initially is one where he bombs a drug field, which he did after circling the skies about it for 30 minutes as warning to those below before dropping the bombs. But any mission where someone dies, he'll complete, but won't ever take any pleasure in it.

That having been said, the guilt that weighs him down is also what gives him the resolve to fight to begin with. He states repeatedly that, as a super-soldier, the only thing he can do is fight, so he decided to fight to change the world for the better, so super-soldiers like him will no longer be created. He understands that the things he's doing as part of Celestial Being are wrong, to an extent, and that he can never wash the blood off his hands for it. But its for the sake of all of those that he's hurt that he has to see things through to the end, and once then, he'll let himself over to be judged.

Aside from the guilt, though, he is rather kind and caring. He doesn't open up to many people, but he still shows concern and worries about the people closest to him. He even, at one point, calls the Ptolemy crew his family, showing just how deeply he cares about them. He's also one of the more level-headed ones on the team (at least, while as Allelujah) and sometimes has to step in to break up arguments between other teammates (like when he steps in to defuse tensions when Tieria and Setsuna ended up pointing guns at each other), or try to stop others from acting rash (like when he stopped Tieria from chasing after Ali Al-Saachez on his own).

He can be a bit pushy sometimes, particularly when it came to Marie. He didn't want her to suffer the same kind of life as him, and despite bringing her back to Celestial Being with him, he never wanted her to be part of the fighting. He got upset when she decided that she was going to pilot the GN Archer (which was the support unit for his Gundam, Arios), though he never once yelled about it. He did brood over and it was tense, and there were a number of small arguments and terse exchanges between himself and Marie, but he only rarely raised his voice at her. Eventually, though, he was able to understand how important the fight was to her, and accepted her from there on out.

Hallelujah, his other personality, is quite a stark contrast, though. Where Allelujah doesn't enjoy fighting, Hallelujah absolutely revels in it, and can often be heard laughing in the middle of a battle. Where Allelujah is kind, Hallelujah is cruel, as he once tortured a man by crushing his mobile suit slowly with his Gundam, and taunted the soldier over the comms as he heard the man scream and beg for his life.

Not much is ever stated about Hallelujah's motives for his behavior, and Allelujah once posited that he was an outlet for all the feelings that Allelujah typically represses. Hallelujah tends to act selfishly, with little regard for anything else. He's stated that his primary concern is one of simple survival, as he was the one who killed the other escapees in the shuttle in order to save himself and Allelujah, and during instances where Allelujah was either rendered unconscious or incapacitated somehow, Hallelujah would take over and fight for him. In theory, he only goes along with Celestial Being because it fulfills his need for fighting, while helping him to survive.

However, that would be assuming that Hallelujah was simply a cackling psychopath and little more than that, which would be wrong. There is far more to him than that.

For starters, he's actually rather manipulative, at least towards Allelujah. He goads Alle into going back to the Super-Soldier Institute with his Gundam to wipe out everyone there, and so no super-soldiers can be sent after them. When Alle returns, but hesitates in pulling the trigger, wanting to rescue the test subjects there, Halle points out that people like him don't have a future, then offers to take over. When Alle still refuses, he forces him to question his motives for going, and points out Alle's hypocrisy for what it is, relentlessly confronting him until Alle finally gives in and pulls the trigger. Later on, there are also points where Halle will take over in battle, then give control back to Allelujah to force him to fight on his own. Once Hallelujah realizes just how strong Alle's resolve to fight is, its then when they finally combine their reflexes and thoughts and became as one being. This may have been Hallelujah's true goal was all along. The end result of his pushing Allelujah to fight harder of his own will paved the way for them to combine their reflexes and thoughts to perform like a true super-soldier and realize their full potential on the battlefield.

Perhaps his most manipulative act was hiding the fact that Soma Pieries, who was Alle's main nemesis through season 1, was actually Marie. Alle is horrified when he discovers the truth, and Halle tells him that he had kept him in the dark because he feared that Allelujah would never try to hurt Soma if he knew, and would just give up and die in battle rather than face her.

Outside of that, Hallelujah also isn't a mindlessly violent personality. He never once makes an attempt to attack the other members of Celestial Being, and even when fighting in the Gundam, he doesn't try to target anyone innocent, and stays within mission parameters. In fact, Allelujah has disobeyed more direct orders than Halle has. Halle will also back down when ordered to by Allelujah. If he's certain that the result won't risk him potentially getting killed, then he'll back off when told to, often remarking about how boring Alle can be. He's even acted in defense of people that Alle cares about. Towards the end of Season 2, when Allelujah's quantum brainwaves were healed, the first thing he told Allelujah was to "Keep your eyes on Marie," and helped to protect her. He then loaned Alle his strength to fight the Innovators and back up Setsuna. Later on, during their first encounter with the ELS, Hallelujah forcibly assumed control to willingly draw attention of ELS lifeforms away from Marie, and then again later, to draw them away from an unconscious Setsuna.

The two may be two sides of the same coin, though its clear that Allelujah is the dominant personality. Its his will and desires that drive them both. But when he and Hallelujah join forces, he truly is a force to be reckoned with.

Any Differences: Alexander isn't weighed down by the same guilt that Allelujah is, so he is a genuinely nice guy without the brooding. He can be quiet at times around others, though that's more of a function of having to move a lot and not being sure how to fit in to a new area. He's always kind and polite, but it takes him to time to figure people out and how to fit in. He can be a bit too eager to please at times, which can make him seem something of a pushover, though its also what makes him so good at his job. Still, he'll stand up for himself if he feels he's right, but he won't argue if there's no need to, and will sometimes sit on negative thoughts if he thinks its the simplest solution to a situation.

Also, he's never had a second personality to deal with.

He speaks with a faint Kazakh accent, that most people mistake for Russian, and he tends to identify himself as "Eastern European" when asked about his ethnicity. Most people he's met in America couldn't point out Kazakhstan on a map, and explaining how mixed his heritage is was often met with blank looks. Simply saying that he's from "Eastern Europe, just south of Russia" tended to go over better.

He'll also roll his eyes when someone calls him "Comrade."

Abilities: He was given quantum brainwaves, which augmented his reflexes, coordination, speed, agility, and cognitive abilities, as well as gave him the ability to communicate with other quantum brainwave users telepathically. His body was also augmented with nanomachines to help keep him at peak physical health longer, and to combat the rigors of being in space for long periods.

As a super-soldier, he's well trained in hand-to-hand and weapon combat, and has had extensive training as a mobile suit pilot.

As a Gundam Meister, he piloted the Gundams Kyrios, Arios, and was the co-pilot of Harute. All three suits were "variable fighters," meaning that they transformed from a mobile suit into a jet. They were geared towards establishing air supremacy, and in jet mode, he could easily out maneuver and outrun virtually any other mobile suit in aerial combat, especially in the atmosphere.

Roleplay Sample - Network:

Lately, my mind has been wandering. I've been having trouble focusing and I'm not sure why. Its like I drift off, even in the middle of conversations. The weirdest part, though, is that sometimes I'll find myself writing the word "hallelujah" over and over and again, and I'm not sure why.

I'm not very religious, and I honestly can't think of what else that could be a reference to. Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

Any Questions? In the application, I have Alexander working at the Marriott, though I figure he'd be little more than a mid-level gopher for guests. I figure he'd know who upper level management is, and they'd know him, but he wouldn't have unrestricted access to their offices and secrets and what not. And probably wouldn't know much beyond whatever most people know about their bosses (or even their boss' bosses). If I need to change things, I can have him work in a different hotel with no problems, I just figured having him work there would give him easier cr opportunities.
